The 1847 is comparable to the 1846 and 1849 quarter eagles both in terms of its overall and high grade rarity.
This example is housed in an older holder, but I do not feel that it is undergraded by today’s standards.
The last PCGS MS61 to sell at auction brought $3,760 back in 9/2016, while an NGC MS61 sold for $3,360 in 3/2021.
