With PR64CAM “common date” Proof Liberty Head now priced in the $130,000-150,000+ range, the few affordable non-impaired PCGS graded/CAC approved pieces which exist (very few for each date) seem like pretty good value at around one-third the price of a coin that is only two points finer.

When you see a PR62 Brilliant Proof $20, it tends to be just awful with either dense hairlines or excessive marks from an unfortunate sojourn into commerce. This piece shows some wispy lines in the obverse fields and a few small marks in the lower left obverse, but the overall eye appeal is excellent for the grade.

This and the 1905 $20 I am also selling represent a truly rare opportunity to own a big, rare Proof US gold issue for a price that is not well into six figures.

CAC has approved this one coin in PR62CAM with nine finer.
