The 1906-D is the first of only two Liberty Head eagles made at the newly-opened Denver mint. It is common in grades though MS64+. Gems are scarce.
This is a totally original coin with excellent luster below rich natural orange-gold color.
There are four APRs for this date in PCGS/CAC MS64, which range from a low of $2,400 (8/2024) to a high of $2,950 (10/2022).
A good value at this price point.
