The 1836 is not an easy issue to locate in the lower MS grades, and it becomes scarce in MS62 to MS63 and rare finer.
This natural rich yellow-gold example shows considerable mint frost and it would likely have graded MS62 were it not for a few light scuffs in the left obverse field.
There is just a single APR for this date in CAC approved MS61, and it is for an NGC coin that sold for $4,080 as Heritage 10/2022: 3839.
